Catherine Shannon Good – McMeen Elementary, Special Ed 3-5

Before I joined DTR, I worked as a Legislative Director and Chief of Staff for Rep. Dianna DeGette. I received my BA from Smith College and I am a DPS graduate. I chose DTR because I want to be an outstanding teacher and I want to serve high-needs kids. The exchange of ideas among the DTR cohort and the resources we are being given has been the best part of the DTR program. I'm looking forward to developing a partnership with my lead teacher and my future students. The biggest challenge facing urban teachers is meeting a wide range of needs.
