Jennifer Nelson – Archuleta Elementary, 5th Grade

I have a BA English Secondary Education and a minor in history. I am qualified to teach high school English, but not licensed. I chose DTR because I wanted to transition to elementary-aged instruction. What I've enjoyed most about DTR so far is the real world connection on a consistent basis. In the coming year, I hope I can capitalize on my lead teacher's knowledge and experience. I have been surprised by the fact that DPS is on the cutting edge of education and teacher development.
