Sarah Grant – Archuleta Elementary, K/1 HGT

I am from the Midwest. I love the mountains, running and my family. I have a husband and a two-year-old daughter. Before DTR I was a mentor coordinator for Goodwill Industries of Denver. My undergraduate degree is from Bradley University in Peoria, IL. I chose DTR because of the opportunities to work with a lead teacher and get my masters degree. Since I started DTR, I have had the opportunity to learn from great teachers. In the near future, I'm looking forward to working with a lead teacher, and getting to know my students. One of the biggest challenges for urban teachers is all of the factors that students have going on at home.
